Microsoft announced a public beta program for testing a new Xbox 360 dashboard. The response was so overwhelming that sign-ups closed within hours of the initial announcement.
Another new Microsoft feature, Avatar Famestar, also made its debut in two XBLA games. More games promise to include the program in the future.
