finally convinced my girlfriend to play some online versus (she's more of a horde, beast and campaign gamer) her first kill of her first online match and the douche decides to send her hatemail for using the lancer chainsaw when he was standing still in the open looking through the sniper scope, after that i took the controller off her and spent the next 3 matches battering him. now i am on a personal mission to destroy any member of the eclipse clan i come across while playing online.

i just don't understand how people can cry about getting killed, its the main point of a shooter. if you don't wanna get killed then dont play shooters simple as.

i filed a complaint against him as the message was stupidly harsh (she level 89 white and he was 20something blue) and now she doesnt want to play online anymore and deal with this bullsh*t

That is out of order mate, complete douche. People like that need to get real and go outside more, everyone rages online but to go to the length of msgin someone because of the weapon they use.

If your girlfriend isn't so sure about verus anymore get a group together of your mates or people off here and we'll show her how fun verus can be when you get the right people. She can't let the 10% of douches online ruin it for her.

I haven't had much trouble in the way of abuse on Gears. Some people are just Nobs.

What's with the trend for whinging about what weapons people use? first it was the SOS, then the Retro Lancer, then Incen Grenades, then Ham Burst (mainly because of modders), then the Gnasher, and now the Lancer.
