Gearbox marketing exec says a recent game guide editor's playthrough of upcoming shooter took more than two days to complete.
Gamers may want to invest in a comfortable couch to play Gearbox Software's upcoming loot-centric shooter Borderlands 2. Speaking to GamerZines, Gearbox vice president of marketing Steve Gibson said a recent playthrough of the game spanned about 58 hours.
“What we like to think about it is, Borderlands is a hobby," he said. "Some guide guys just did a playthrough of Borderlands 2 and they reported back to us that it takes 58 hours to play through the campaign--and that’s just one playthrough with one character."
Borderlands 2 is the sequel to 2009's well-received original Borderlands. It is due out in North America on September 18 and will ship internationally on September 21
