A demo for FIFA 13 was released on Tuesday and it has already racked up a whopping 1.99 million downloads across all formats, setting a new series record. EA Sports reckon that compared to last year’s FIFA 12 demo that’s an increase of 29%.
Global pre-orders for FIFA 13 are also up; 37 per cent in Europe and 67 per cent in America. That translates to 875,000 more pre-orders in Britain alone. Despite releasing a game every year since, like, forever, the long-running series shows no signs of a dip in popularity.
FIFA 13 kicks off on September 25th in North America and September 28th in Europe.
