I was wondering if some of you could help me make up my mind whether or not to get this?

It looks pretty fun but I couldn't really get into the first one.

Go for it! I've been playing it off and on for a couple weeks now and I'm having a blast with it. If you liked the first one it's very similar; open world, ridiculously violent "powers", just fun...

What are the Cheevos like? I'm a bit of a score whore. LOL

Pretty standard fare: "complete this chapter", "gain this power", "gain all powers", "complete the game", etc....

Well I've bought it. So I'll be playing it tonight..... If it's crap I'll blame you.

I'm loving this game....spent a whole hour last night just running around killing "infected"....didn't even work towards story progression.....good, mindless fun!!! I do believe, however, that this might actually be the first game that I get 100% completion on...I'm only 10 or 11 cheevos away, and almost half of those are story progression based....we'll see how it pans out this weekend....

Yeah, traded in MW3 and got money knocked off it so only came to £8

Really well, and it has a decent prologue so you don't need to play the first game either.

couldnt have put it better myself, they should have wrote that on the back of the box!!! Since from what I hear there isn't really a story line, lol.

The "Black Hole" attack and "Bio Bomb" mutations are a gory riot!!

Played some more last night it's wicked fun.

Whelp, I've just about completed this one.....interested to see what the final boss fight involves...prolly finish it tonight and then move on to NewGame+ to finish maxing Heller out...the Whipfist is an extremely useful upgrade; now I see why you get it last!!! 100%, here I come!!!!!

UPDATE: beat the final boss the other night...way easier than I thought it would be....have all the upgrades via consume, now just have to complete my NewGame+ play through which should max out Heller and give me the final two Cheevos for my first 100% game!!!!

Just 100%'d this other night... hooked on it and it was brilliant fun. so much fun so worth it
