"Good day, vault hunters. Today, 2K Games announced two special editions of Borderlands 2 for optional acquisition for the game's launch in September.

The $100 "Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collector's Edition" includes the game, Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, art book, stickers, digital comic and some unspecified DLC. There's also the "Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition" (pictured), which includes all items previously mentioned, along with actual red loot chest box and other goodies."

So, what are your thoughts on these special editions? I, for one, am a sucker for these things, to some extent.....I already have way too much "useless crap" (my wife's words), but the lure of a replica red loot chest may just be too much to resist. I guess I'll just start savin my pennies now!!!

I love and i mean LOVE borderlands, amazing game so this is something i might have to try saving up for.. So excited about this game :-) i dont normally mind missing out on special edition games but this... I NEED!!! Lol

That Special Edition looks amazing though!

It's funny how they advertise the Game disc as a feature. It would be a bit crap without it. LOL

I managed to secure the Ultimate Loot Chest Edition from GAME. It seems to be sold out there now.

I preordered mine through Amazon.....come on September!!!!!
