Having scrapped Inside Xbox in the US last week, Microsoft has today dropped the axe on the UK and European versions of Inside Xbox. The award-winning UK Inside Xbox team is no more, meaning that shows like SentUAMessage and The Nexus will no longer be on the Xbox Live Dashboard.

The UK team consisted of Xbox Live Europe editor Daniel Maher, Xbox Live producer Andy Farrant and Xbox Live producer Ashley Denton, and with Inside Xbox ceasing, Microsoft will focus on providing content from third parties that will apparently be more "timely and locally relevant".

"Whilst this means that the Inside Xbox brand will effectively be retired in Europe, the focus remains on continuing to provide the Xbox Live community with the latest and best in games and entertainment news and information," said Major Nelson.

"So, to be clear and succinct: Inside Xbox is no more, as are our jobs," Dan Maher tweeted. "Your support during the last four years has meant the world to us."

I didn't watch them really, I prefer Gamespot.

Sad to see people losing jobs though.
