I'm new to xbox 360, after just recently buying my first ever xbox console about 2 weeks ago, Was just wondering what games where worth buying?

I'm mainly in to RPG type games and stuff like that, I love the zelda series and Mario (Yeah I use to be a nintendo fan, lol) But got fed up of the Wii.

I've heard Oblivion is a good game?! But just wanted your guys advice's please

I've heard that The Witcher 2 is a pretty good RPG, but I can't speak from personal experience. I'm not really into the whole RPG genre, but if you are also into FPS, I would highly recommend Borderlands as it incorporates some RPG type elements into a really fun FPS...

Mass Effect Trilogy
Fable 2 & 3

As publik said, those are great, and Fable one was fun too

The Elder Scrolls series was pretty good, I suggest Oblivion before Skyrim so you can understand some of the things they talk about in Skyrim

Fallout 3 and New Vegas were pretty damn good too

Im not really an RPG fan but I really enjoyed fable 2 and 3.. (2 more) but apart from RPGs you really should check out the Gears of war trilogy... if you want a few friend on xbox live feel free to add me KiLLa4DeScriLLa

Nice one thanks guys, I'll try the Mass Effect and Oblivion as I've just checked them out online, look wikid. I haven't got xbox live yet as I wanted to build my games collection up before paying for live, seems a waste of money... Its the price of a game! lol

nah xbox live is really good.. its like the best feature the xbox has, plus you get 1 month for free when you make a new account anyway. If you aren't planning to play any multi player games then I guess xbl isnt worth that much to you but even still its got alot of features like netflix etc. its like £36 a year I think its worth it.

XBL is a bit pricey, but totally worth it IMO. Also, you can always watch for sales on Amazon, Newegg, etc. That's what I do; for the past couple years I haven't paid more than $35.00 for my yearly XBL membership.

Id wait, i've been hearing alot of rumors about XBL becoming free soon. Would increase the price for all DLC though

Not going to happen I'm affaid.

XBL wont be free... would be great but I really dont think £36 a year is unreasonable at all I mean a game is like £40 so dont see the problem.. or you can pay £5 a month thats like £1.25 a week....

Don't dismiss something before you research it lol. I still do doubt it myself, but there are ALOT of rumors floating around about it

Why would Micrsoft make something free that they have been making people pay for years for?! It just doesn't make any resonable sense, IF they decided to turn around and say yeah its now going to be free they would not only have to lower the quality of the service (lack of revenue means less time put in to the service) But they would also prob piss off most of the xbox live users who have been paying for the service for years.

The only reasonable way I can see Microsoft doing this is for them to release an official statement saying since we now put adverts on our dashboard we have decided that xbox live will become a free service.

BUT that would result in a hell of a lot more adverts being placed on the dashboard rather then just the one little one in the corner which for some reason alot of people moan about.

Don't get me wrong I would love xbox live to become free as I think what you get for the price is a great service its still stupid paying the price of a game for it.

I have a hard time believing that Microsoft would make XBL free.....who, in their right mind, would kill such a cash cow?!

i am also a great rpg fan, not only on xbox but even on pc, also i play MMORPGs, like WAR online.

So we are like RPG brothers might-say
