what games are you looking forward too in 2012?

For me its defo Assassin's Creed 3 and Borderlands 2. Nothing else is taking my fancy.

Assassin's Creed 3, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and 6, Minecraft for Arcade, and thats pretty much it. I'll leave a update if i find anything else.

All Resy Evil games, Assassins Creed 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines

Halo 4, GTA IV and The new COD (which I may not get im just looking forward to finding out what they will do with the series next)

Max Payne 3 also looks good.

Darksiders 2 is a must as well.....I keep coming up with more. LOL

Even if they don't I'll still get it, I'll be disappointed but it wouldn't stop me buying the game.

Fair enough I still need to play 4, the he handling just wound me up. LOL

i dont get why everyone complained about the car handling, it was different from the previous games but i found it much better

It was way to spongy. Didn't react properly. They tried to make it too real, bit GTA is about fun.

real is good, saints row 2 is what you want if your looking for fun :p

GTA was originally about fun, it only went serious in number 4, saints row just copied the idea behind GTA but made it 100 times more stupidly fun. The reason GTA 4 was the way it was is because it was the first next gen version. They need to stick to what worked, which hopfully they will, if I wanted real I wouldn't be playing games. If you want real driving you need forza!!

Except forza... uhh... how do i put it? sucks in my opinion, just a little TOO real lol, id rather play GTA 4 purely for driving instead of Forza

yeah i get what your saying, ive had many hours of fun in front of all of the gta games so far, it has been nice watching it evolve from the birds eye view of the original to what it is now, that being said. gta needed to evolve, to be made more 'real' with the release of SR2 which i've heard described as a 'cartoon gta sandbox game' it did what gta failed to do, and just gave you more power to create absolute mayhem in a city full of people which is what sandbox gaming is all about.
i have much love for the gta series, they made 4 a more serious game and it worked for the most part, a few bugs and glitches round and about the game but we cant have everything now can we :p

I understand where you are coming from but for me GTA needs that fun factor, its what makes it as great as it is, GTA 4 rode on the success of the other GTA games while trying something new, as they knew the fan boys (like me) would buy it regardless. I dont mind them evolving but keep it fun, just because SR went over the top in terms of what you can do that takes nothing away from how well GTA works as a fun sandbox that has a decent story. For me san Andreas was just perfect, had the right ammount of fun, missions, mini games and didn't take it self serious. GTA 4 was like its strick "i take myself to seriously" older brother.

gotta admit, san andreas was probably one of the best games of the generation, so much going on and so much to do

Im thinking about buying San Andres off the marketplace next time i get a point card lol
