It's a winter wonderland in these latest screenshots for Assassin's Creed III, which see new hero Connor legging it through the white stuff on the hunt for deer.

There's beautiful trees, far-off snowcapped mountains on the horizon, footsteps in the snow and actually very little assassination or killing going on.

You can check out some of the snowy screenshots below (courtesy of AGB ) and ogle all seven in the gallery. Assassin's Creed III is out on October 31st, 2012. Check out x360a's first look
